The Service Team Member is part of the restaurant service team, which engages with guests and expedites food while ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency. The role suits positive, outgoing, dependable people who thrive in a fast-paced, upbeat environment and support teamwork, inclusivity, respect, passion, and fun. Team members serve guests, prepare food, help maintain fresh ingredients, and keep the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for each shift.

Requirements

Excellent guest service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for up to 8+ hours per shift.
Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, with a strong work ethic.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work with sharp kitchen tools when assigned to a prep position.

Responsibilities

Follow Tokyo Joes operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety and security practices, to help ensure team member safety during each shift.
Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
Make fresh ingredients available daily.
Serve food to guests courteously and promptly.
Prepare food items quickly and accurately.
Follow sanitation and safety procedures, including safe knife handling and kitchen equipment use.
Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization, including setting up and breaking down the dining room, restrooms, kitchen, and prep areas.
Effectively handle guest concerns and complaints.
Work with the team to prepare the restaurant for each shift.
Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge in a way that promotes Tokyo Joes' culture.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Contribute to a positive team environment.
