About The Position

The Service Supervisor supports front-end operations by leading service teams, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining strong execution of company policies and service standards. This role assists department leadership with daily operations, staffing, training, and problem resolution while serving as a visible leader on the sales floor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous customer service or retail leadership experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to supervise multiple work areas in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a consistently positive customer experience by modeling exceptional service behaviors
  • Address customer questions, concerns, and escalations promptly and professionally
  • Support front-end operations including lanes, self-checkout, service desk, and customer flow
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards are maintained
  • Supervise and support cashiers and service clerks during assigned shifts
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching of front-end associates
  • Provide real-time direction, coverage adjustments, and break/lunch coordination
  • Recognize performance and provide constructive feedback to promote accountability
  • Support cash office functions, register accountability, and cash-handling procedures
  • Assist with opening, closing, and mid-shift cash pulls as assigned
  • Monitor shrink prevention practices and ensure policy compliance
  • Partner with department leadership to support labor efficiency and service coverage
  • Help execute promotions, ad changes, and company initiatives
  • Maintain operational logs and required documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company procedures
