Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic first aid, AED, and CPR certification is required within three (3) months of the date of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one year experience in customer service preferred

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for department patron service. Assists patrons and accepts registrations. Responds to telephone requests and assist patrons with a wide variety of questions.
  • Schedule facility reservations and prepare appropriate notices.
  • Creates, maintains and performs data entry into the RecTrac System.
  • Maintains administrative records and files.
  • Processes financial transactions for and maintains all transaction history.
  • Assists other Parks and Recreation facilities with transactions and patron services. May perform duties and responsibilities of various patron service positions throughout the department as needed.
  • Accepts payments and balances daily receipts deposit.
  • Count, balance cash and document petty cash box.
  • Assists with RecTrac maintenance and prepares system reports as requested.
  • Assist with program rescheduling as needed.
  • Perform Pool Party Room, Gym and Lock-In Rental Management, as well as other facility or amenity rentals as directed or assigned; verify certificate of liability insurance, arrange for security, and arrange for room set up and supplies needed.
  • Review online registrations and household requests.
  • Receives, collects and compiles patron feedback and comments regarding programs, facilities, and events; responds to and reports patron feedback and comments according to established procedures.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.
