About The Position

Hawx Pest Control is seeking a Pest Control Service Professional to inspect and perform pest control treatments for residential and commercial customers using high-quality, environmentally responsible products. The role welcomes candidates from other hands-on, customer-service-oriented industries; training is provided. Service Professionals provide a high-quality customer experience while following a daily service schedule and carrying out pest, mosquito, or termite services. The position is full-time and pays $18.00–$24.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass the required background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check.
• Must be comfortable working in the presence of all pests.
• Physical labor experience, including working outdoors.
• Ability to bend, lift, sit, stretch, reach, and crouch.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time, tasks, and responsibilities.
• Strong customer service, communication, listening, adaptability, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with commonly used documents and software, such as word processing and spreadsheets, and ability to learn new software.
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, operational efficiency, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools.
• Experience in construction, lawn care, landscaping, retail, grocery, sanitation, or other customer-service-oriented work.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential pest management service routes with a high level of customer service, professionalism, and efficiency.
• Consult with customers, inspect properties, identify and eliminate conditions conducive to pests, and perform appropriate treatments.
• Address customer concerns and pest-related issues using integrated pest management strategies.
• Read and interpret pesticide labels and correctly mix products based on measured areas and required quantities.
• Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces, climb on and over structures, and ascend and descend stairs and ladders as needed.
• Record work activities and complete paperwork after services.
• Maintain and care for company equipment, vehicle, gas card, and other job-related items.
• Perform duties safely, follow safety policies and procedures, and reinforce a culture of safety within the team.
