About The Position

The Service Porter supports the dealership’s Service Department by safely moving, maintaining, and preparing vehicles while providing customer service. The role helps keep service areas and dealership grounds organized, safe, and efficient and contributes to a positive customer experience. The position pays $15.00 per hour and is full-time, with availability required Monday through Saturday and Sundays off.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive dealership, valet, porter, or customer service experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and direct vehicles to designated service areas.
• Safely transport customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service drive, parking lot, and dealership property.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of service lanes, parking areas, customer waiting areas, and dealership grounds.
• Locate, stage, and deliver vehicles as needed to assist service advisors and technicians.
• Perform basic vehicle preparation, including washing, vacuuming, fueling, and inspecting vehicles before customer delivery.
• Keep the lot organized and park vehicles in designated locations to support operational efficiency.
• Follow dealership safety policies and procedures while providing professional and courteous customer service.
