About The Position

Massey Cadillac of Orlando (North), part of the Sonic Automotive family, is hiring an experienced Master Technician to join its dealership service team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles while delivering efficient, high-quality workmanship. Technicians use advanced diagnostic tools and software, follow dealership and manufacturer standards, document repair orders, and communicate findings to service advisors. The position operates under a flat-rate pay structure and includes staying current with automotive technology, including electric vehicle systems. EV work may involve battery diagnostics and high-voltage components, with safety protocols required. Service bays are air conditioned.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of automotive dealership or repair experience; flat-rate candidates.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including electrical and drivability concerns.
• Experience with routine maintenance and complex repairs, including brakes, suspension, engine, and electrical systems.
• Ability to efficiently complete work in a flat-rate environment and meet productivity goals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for diagnostics and repair documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications (A1–A8, L1, or L3) and/or manufacturer certifications.
• Experience or training in electric and hybrid vehicle systems.
