About The Position
Kendall Toyota of Eugene is hiring for a Service Porter/Shuttle Driver to join their service team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will be available for full-time hours, possess proven customer service experience, and be enthusiastic about their work. The role involves moving and parking service vehicles, providing superior customer service, directing clients, gathering vehicle information for check-in, retrieving parts and supplies, operating snow removal equipment, washing vehicle exteriors, vacuuming interiors, and performing janitorial tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the service drive. Additionally, the position includes relieving the courtesy Shuttle Driver, requiring courteous driving for clients, familiarity with city streets, map reading, sign interpretation, GPS navigation, and coordinating pick-up/drop-off times for efficiency and client satisfaction. The role requires working both indoors and outdoors in a shop environment, with standing and walking for up to 75% of the shift, and bending, twisting, and kneeling primarily for vehicle entry and exit.
Requirements
- Full-time availability
- Proven customer service experience
- Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission
- Good, clean driving record
- Valid driver license

Responsibilities
- Moving and parking service vehicles as needed
- Communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients
- Directing service customers to the appropriate advisor
- Obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check in process
