About The Position

The Service Porter/Runner helps ensure customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the service area and lot, moving them between service garages, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the service area, delivering vehicles to customers after service, and transporting customers to and from home when needed. The role is suited to someone with high energy, a positive attitude, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license is required. This is a full-time, entry-level position scheduled Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and possible overtime. Starting pay is $15–$18 per hour, based on experience. A company delivery vehicle is provided, and no CDL is required. Jim Glover Auto Family is a family-owned business serving the Tulsa area since 1991. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Reliable transportation to and from work every day.

Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confidence, an outgoing personality, and eagerness to improve.
Ability to work flexible schedules and some weekends.
Ability to stand, walk, drive, and sit for extended periods.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
Ability to kneel, bend, reach, and work above shoulder level.
Ability to regularly lift and carry automotive parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely load and unload parts from a delivery vehicle.

Responsibilities

Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the service drive, including cleaning floors and removing trash.
Assist Service Advisors, technicians, and managers as needed.
Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lots as needed.
Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
Transport customers to and from home when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
