About The Position

Leaky's Plumbing & HVAC is hiring an experienced Service & Repair Plumber to handle residential and commercial service calls. The role involves diagnosing and repairing a range of plumbing problems, presenting customers with repair options and estimates, and completing work efficiently and professionally. The plumber will maintain a clean, stocked, and organized service truck, take care of customers, and help grow the plumbing business. The company serves customers in Lubbock and San Antonio and is expanding into Midland/Odessa. The position offers competitive hourly pay plus commissions and performance bonuses, with annual earning potential of $75,000–$100,000. The company provides a service vehicle and power tools, steady service calls, and opportunities to move into leadership as the business grows. Overtime opportunities are available.

Requirements

Current Texas Tradesman or Journeyman Plumbing License.
Experience in residential and commercial service plumbing.
Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable working independently.
Strong work ethic, takes ownership of work, and desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

Run residential and commercial plumbing service calls.
Diagnose leaks, stoppages, water heater problems, and other plumbing issues.
Repair water heaters, drains, fixtures, water lines, sewer lines, and gas lines.
Install water softeners and other water quality products.
Present customers with repair options and estimates.
Complete jobs efficiently and professionally.
Keep the service truck clean, stocked, and organized.
Take care of customers and build relationships.
Help the company continue to grow its plumbing business.
