About The Position

IDEMIA Public Security is hiring a U.S.-based Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 on its Service Platform Engineering team. The team builds and operates the internal developer platform used by product teams, including the pipelines that ship code, the infrastructure services run on, and security guardrails. The intern will take on and deliver a real project, gaining hands-on experience with backend service deployment, continuous delivery practices, delivery pipelines, and security and vulnerability operations. Experienced engineers will provide mentorship and review the intern’s work. The role is hybrid and requires the ability to travel to the office. The internship runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. The U.S. hourly rate is $25.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent self-directed experience.
• Comfortable reading and writing basic code in any language.
• Curiosity, clear communication, and self-direction.
• Able to travel to the office for the hybrid role.
