About The Position

Perform day-to-day cash management on behalf of clients within the American Enterprise Investment Services (AEIS) Brokerage Cashiering and Money Movement Operations organization. The role includes daily cash management analysis, processing domestic and international payments in various forms, cash forecasting, and issue resolution while ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory controls.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent (two years), or qualifying post-secondary education and relevant work experience combined to meet the minimum requirements.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience, or qualifying post-secondary education and relevant work experience combined to meet the minimum requirements.
• Proven ability to research and resolve issues, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight time frames and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to understand and communicate complex issues.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (four years).
• Financial services industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and analyze daily cash activity, complete cash flow reconciliations, and forecast cash for AEIS bank accounts by monitoring electronic files and business partner requests.
• Monitor client cash sweeps and AEIS operating accounts for end-of-day cash, ensuring funds are settled or invested as appropriate.
• Ensure established compliance procedures and controls are executed.
• Review incoming cash transfers and process outgoing cash transfers to ensure prompt and accurate distribution.
• Communicate with internal and external business partners about inquiries, issues, and escalated requests.
• Cross-train in related cash management and reconciliation functions to provide effective backup to the team as needed.
• Participate in departmental business continuity and disaster recovery exercises, as well as project groups as needed.
