About The Position

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning | Mister Sparky Electric | Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is looking for an experienced Tri-Brand Service Manager to support their HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing service departments. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on coaching technicians, maintaining service excellence, and partnering with leadership to achieve company goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about training others, improving processes, and leading by example.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership experience in residential HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or multi-trade service.
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Ability to train technicians both in the classroom and in the field.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable handling difficult technical and customer situations.
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly morning technician meetings.
  • Evaluate new hires for technical competency.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing technical training for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical technicians.
  • Conduct field ride-alongs to coach technicians and improve performance.
  • Document technician training and maintain training records.
  • Provide after-hours technical phone and field support when needed.
  • Assist with challenging customer concerns and complex technical situations.
  • Support onboarding and service process training for all new technicians.
  • Stay current on industry technology, equipment, and best practices.
  • Track department scorecards and key performance metrics.
  • Respond as the first point of contact for technician support communications.
  • Partner with the General Manager to execute company initiatives, goals, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders and Field Supervisors.
  • Provide second opinions on failed equipment, including compressors, heat exchangers, and other major systems.
  • Ensure weekly truck care reports are completed and submitted on time.
  • Monitor technician compliance with company uniform and appearance standards.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to review and submit weekly NuComp reports accurately.
  • Perform quality control inspections on completed installations to reduce callbacks and warranty claims.
  • Support additional operational initiatives as business needs require.
