Requirements

  • Prior experience as an Automotive Service Manager.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • A valid driver license and good driving record.
  • Extended work hours when needed, at times without advanced notice.
  • Carrying and lifting occasionally required up to 20lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and control service department operations to meet dealership goals and manufacturer requirements.
  • Supervise department employees.
  • Ensure company policy and procedures are followed.
  • Review and control operational expenses.
  • Resolve customer concerns.
  • Work directly with service department staff to ensure shop productivity and department growth.
  • Ensure proper warranty procedures, billing, and collections.
  • Develop, supervise, and review marketing efforts for the department.
