About The Position

The Service & Maintenance Technician maintains facilities and store equipment across Yuma and surrounding areas. The role performs light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning, and general repair work; troubleshoots and maintains store equipment; and contacts service vendors for repair materials. The technician documents and communicates completed work, irregularities, and ongoing needs, and participates in training for existing and new equipment. The role requires driving a company vehicle to store locations throughout the division. Duties may change with or without advance notice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to use a hand/electric cart, power tools, and hand tools; crouch or crawl; use a ladder; and lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and to work independently.
• 3–5 years of experience in air conditioning, refrigeration, or general maintenance.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle to store locations throughout the division.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities through light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
• Provide general maintenance support, including painting, building or repairing structures, interiors, shelving, and cabinets, cleaning, and other basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, clean, and perform preventive maintenance on store equipment.
• Contact service vendors to obtain materials for repairs.
• Document and communicate work actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams.
• Participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Drive a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division.
