About The Position

A growing property management and commercial maintenance business is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to assess service requests, perform repairs, and ensure work is completed properly and on time. Plumbing makes up most of the work. The role serves residential and commercial properties in Mint Hill, Charlotte, and surrounding areas. The position is temp-to-hire and pays $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience. The position includes 35 paid hours per week, with additional hours available. The technician participates in an on-call rotation of two nights per week and one weekend per month, serving as the first contact for service calls received after 4 p.m. on assigned nights. Standard service calls generally fall within a 90-mile radius of the Mint Hill office, though some assignments may involve trips of more than two hours and around 120 miles. Travel reimbursement is available for dispatched calls; details are discussed during the interview and confirmed before an assignment begins. Company training on processes and workflows is provided. The technician must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to assigned properties. A basic tool bag with wrenches and screwdrivers is required; a cordless impact driver is preferred. Specialty tools are available at the shop for specific jobs, and additional tools may be provided based on the assignment.
