About The Position

The Supply Chain Services Service Line Coordinator develops, implements, and manages a supply help system that meets the needs of a facility’s specialty area. The coordinator serves as a departmental liaison for Supply Chain Services with key departments. The role supports supply and implant requisitions, inventory management, delivery verification, accurate supply data tracking, and cost-reduction efforts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Basic communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of college education preferred.
• Experience in a related job.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain par-level systems for procedure-specific hospital departments.
• Confirm accurate receipt of products for specific departments, verify hospital deliveries, and deliver products to the appropriate department.
• Provide resource assistance for expense-reduction opportunities and document monthly supply cost savings and inventory reductions.
• Maintain records such as requisition dates, delivery verifications, invoice price confirmations, back-orders, and implant pricing.
• Track supply data accurately, including back-orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers.
• Process department-specific supply and implant requisitions and confirm their accuracy.
• Monitor expected delivery dates and work with department staff to ensure implant information is accurate.
• Help maintain inventory by reducing stock while ensuring sufficient supplies are available for stores and special orders.
• Regularly check expiration dates and handle removal, replacement, and documentation as directed by department leadership and the SCS Director.
