The Service Greeter intercepts all incoming calls and determines whether the person being called should be interrupted. They communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize answering time and hold time. This role involves taking thorough messages, communicating them to the appropriate parties promptly, and providing basic information for general inquiries. The Service Greeter also serves as the service center greeter, directing customers to the appropriate persons if they are not met by a Service Advisor. Additional duties include updating and distributing the company telephone roster, maintaining phone logs and customer name files daily, filing repair orders daily, and assisting with special projects as assigned.
