The Service Greeter helps ensure customers receive excellent service at Bergey's Chevrolet in Colmar, Pennsylvania. The role directs traffic in the valet lane, welcomes customers entering the service area, answers questions, and guides them to the appropriate person or location. The greeter also records vehicle information, tags keys, prepares vehicles with protective covers and floor mats, handles vehicles and night-drop envelopes, parks and retrieves vehicles, and shuttles customers. Additional duties include helping maintain shop and office cleanliness and keeping the service drive clean and safe. Full-time or part-time schedules are available.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming traffic entering the valet lane.
• Greet customers entering the service area, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
• Determine whether customers have service appointments and record vehicle mileage, inspection sticker expiration dates, and tire tread depth measurements.
• Tag keys and place a hang tag inside each vehicle for identification.
• Install protective covers on the driver seat and steering wheel, along with a protective floor mat.
• Retrieve night-drop envelopes, tag vehicles, and move vehicles.
• Park incoming vehicles and retrieve departing vehicles from the service lot.
• Shuttle clients and pick up and deliver vehicles.
• Assist with shop and office cleanliness and upkeep, including sweeping, taking out trash, and wiping surfaces.
• Keep the service drive clean and safe, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, and other debris.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
