About The Position

The Service Engineering Liaison works on engineering projects involving critical problems whose solutions require major technological advances and extensive related development. The role is responsible for entire engineering projects of major complexity within established scope and makes authoritative technical decisions and recommendations that significantly affect extensive engineering activities. Applying advanced technical principles, theories, broad expertise, or specialized knowledge, the liaison leads development of innovative ideas and independently determines improved methods and procedures to optimize technical, cost, and schedule requirements. The position works under consultative direction, develops standards and guides for diverse engineering activities, and conceives investigations in important areas where engineering precedents may be lacking. The role also provides engineering support for aircraft structural repairs and manufacturing discrepancies, including communication and instruction for technicians and collaboration across engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, and customer teams. Other duties may be assigned.
