Friendly Chevrolet is seeking a self-motivated and high-performing individual fit for the position of Service Drive Manager. The candidate should have strong verbal communication skills, enthusiasm, and extraordinary customer service skills.

Requirements

  • Typically, 2–3 years of automotive dealership experience, with prior supervisory or Service Advisor experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage varying schedules, including occasional weekends.
  • Deep understanding of automotive service operations, warranty processes, and dealership software.
  • Many Service Drive Manager roles are hands-on, requiring you to balance management tasks with active participation in customer deliveries and paperwork alongside advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily operations of an automotive dealership or service center lane.
  • Manage service greeters, valets, and advisors to ensure prompt customer greetings, efficient vehicle drop-offs, and exceptional service experiences.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and mentor Service Advisors, greeters, and lot valets.
  • Greet customers during peak times, resolve customer complaints, and follow up to ensure high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer, Service Manager, and technicians.
  • Monitor repair orders to prevent operational delays.
  • Track key performance indicators, drive departmental revenue, and review sales performance.
  • Ensure safety, OSHA, and environmental regulations are followed.
