About The Position

Bill Jacobs BMW is looking to add to its elite Porter team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in a fast-paced environment within the automotive industry and a passion for delivering 5-star customer service. Service Drive Porters are responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of vehicles through the service drive. Quality Control Porters ensure that all vehicles have been adequately washed and vacuumed before being released to the customer.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability guidelines.
Must be able to safely drive and maneuver vehicles.
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Team player.

Nice To Haves

The ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is a plus.

Responsibilities

Washing cars for service customers, walk-in customers, service loaners, and inventory vehicles.
Ensuring that new and used vehicle inventory is appropriately placed on the lot and in the showroom and that sold vehicles are prepared for customer delivery.
Ensuring the efficient flow of vehicles through the service drive.
Ensuring that all vehicles have been adequately washed and vacuumed before being released to the customer.
