About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Service Porter to join our team at DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks. The Service Porter plays a key role in supporting our service department by maintaining a clean and organized service area and assisting with the movement of vehicles throughout the dealership. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if necessary
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in an automotive or service environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Move vehicles to and from the service department, customer parking areas, and other dealership locations
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service lane and parking areas
- Assist service advisors and technicians as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with vehicle retrieval
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any noticeable damage or issues
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
