About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Service Dispatcher. This role is crucial for coordinating service operations, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance for our customers. The dispatcher will manage service schedules, dispatch technicians, and handle customer service requests, playing a key part in maintaining our reputation for local support on a global scale.

Requirements

Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Legally authorized to work in the United States. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

Familiarity with the service territory.

Responsibilities

Schedule service repairs and dispatch field service technicians to customer locations based on location, technician skill level, and facility response guidelines.
Schedule and dispatch planned maintenance to ensure timely completion.
Receive service requests from customers and coworkers.
Enter service information into the computer.
Assist with paperwork and prepare reports.
May handle registering service vans, scheduling maintenance for the rental fleet, scheduling delivery trucks, and coordination of services with outside vendors.
