About The Position

Blackburn’s is seeking a dependable, service-minded Delivery Technician for its Warehouse and Delivery team in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The role delivers, sets up, and supports medical equipment in patients’ homes and healthcare settings, helping patients feel safe, comfortable, and confident. It combines driving, equipment setup, customer interaction, and warehouse support. Training, mentorship, and opportunities for growth are provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, collaborate with a team, and adapt to changing situations.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment safely.
• Familiarity with computers, Outlook, and Internet applications.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with hand and shop tools, mechanical assembly, or repair of mechanical or electronic devices.
• Basic mechanical or technical aptitude; training is provided.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up medical equipment and supplies in homes and healthcare facilities.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on equipment use and care in a clear, friendly manner.
• Assist with cleaning, inspecting, and performing basic maintenance on equipment.
• Complete delivery paperwork and required documentation safely and accurately.
• Maintain company vehicles and transport equipment safely and securely.
• Collect signatures or payments as needed to support billing processes.
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including inventory support, equipment staging, and shipping.
• Participate in ongoing training related to safety, infection control, and product knowledge.
