About The Position

American Equipment Holdings is one of the leading overhead crane solutions providers in the United States. The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing office communications and facilitating key tasks and procedures. This role supports service personnel who perform on-site routine services including maintenance, OSHA inspections, and repair, ensuring field services are effective and customers’ requirements are met. The position requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a field service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email.
  • Fields customer questions and complaints; escalates issues beyond the representative’s knowledge to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Provides support and guidance to service personnel who perform on-site routine services including maintenance, OSHA inspections, and repair.
  • Ensures field services are effective and customers’ requirements are met.
  • Coordination of schedule with customers and staff, preparation of service orders and maintenance checklists, review of technicians’ hours and timecards, and preparation of quotes for inspections and repairs, ordering of related parts.
  • Communicate availability of materials (or delays of materials) with customers.
  • Arrange rental equipment when necessary.
