About The Position

Toyota Carlsbad is seeking a Service Department Cashier to help customers complete the final step of their service visits. The role involves closing repair orders, accurately processing payments, and providing a welcoming, professional checkout experience. The cashier also responds to customer questions, follows cash-handling and quality-control procedures, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. The position requires weekend and overtime availability as needed, a professional appearance, and wearing a dealership-provided uniform.

Requirements

Two years of retail experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Cash-handling experience and a strong commitment to accuracy.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized while assisting customers.
Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new software.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Greet and acknowledge customers promptly, creating a friendly and welcoming environment.
Close repair orders and accurately collect and process payments for service, parts, rentals, vehicle sales, and other transactions.
Respond to customer questions and concerns professionally, referring issues to the appropriate team member when needed.
Follow established cash-handling, payment-processing, and quality control procedures.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Maintain a professional appearance and wear the dealership-provided uniform.
Work weekends and overtime as needed.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
