About The Position

Smithtown Kia is seeking a full-time Service Cashier to join its team. This role offers an opportunity to enter the automotive industry, with opportunities for growth. The Service Cashier greets customers, processes payments for automotive services, maintains accurate transaction records, balances the cash drawer, provides customer service, and keeps the work area organized. Weekday and Saturday availability is required; the service department is closed on Sundays.

Nice To Haves

• Cashiering experience is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process payments for automotive services using cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
• Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
