About The Position

West Valley CJDR, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is looking for a talented Service Cashier. This role is responsible for greeting customers, processing payments, managing the customer lounge, and handling customer keys. The ideal candidate will have customer service and/or clerical experience, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. Requirements

• 1 year minimum of customer service and/or clerical experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and high energy

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience in a dealership position is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner
• Knowing and understanding extended service policies, and processing extended warranty payments for repair orders
• Printing out estimates and invoices and accepting payment for completed service work
• Restocking refreshments, food, and lobby materials in the customer lounge, keeping the area neat and inviting during business hours
• Managing customer keys while cars are waiting to be picked up by their owners
• Reconciling cash drawer daily
• Working with the sales manager to learn about products and services offered, their features and value, and any price changes to services our store offers
• Filing of all repair orders throughout the day
• Working cooperatively with the sales and service team
• Answering customer questions about service performed or products purchased, or referring them to a Service or Sales professional
• Handling customer complaints with integrity and poise and referring customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution if it is outside the scope of the cashier duties
• Answering incoming service calls as needed
