About The Position

The Service Department Business Development Center (BDC) staff member is the initial contact for Customers seeking to schedule an appointment with, or ask questions of, our dealership's Service Department. The primary goal is to set an accurate, quality appointment that enables the dealership to meet the Customer's expectations while sounding helpful and courteous at all times.

Requirements

  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving ability with a calm, empathetic approach
  • Proficient in CRM systems and customer service software
  • Flexible to work shifts including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls and emails professionally and deliver timely solutions
  • Respond to internet leads within 15 minutes
  • Book daily appointments for the sales department
  • Make a minimum of 15 outbound calls per hour for customer follow-up
  • Log all interactions, vehicle data, and customer information accurately in CRM
  • Collaborate with Sales and Service to resolve issues and escalate when needed
  • Guide customers through the online sales process
  • Stay current on product knowledge and company policies
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings
