About The Position

This position involves performing semi-skilled, routine, and repetitive tasks related to the safe cleaning and servicing of company vehicles. The role also includes performing second-level maintenance on both revenue and non-revenue company vehicles.

Requirements

• High school or trade school graduate.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledgeable in fueling, servicing and cleaning of transit vehicles.
• Familiar with current safety equipment and procedures.
• Excellent work performance and attendance records.
• Valid Hawaii State driver's license with clean traffic abstract.
• Ability to pass State of Hawaii D.O.T. driving requirements for a "Type B" commercial driver's license.
• Ability to pass Company-administered written examination.
• Ability to meet standard physical requirements and pass Company-sponsored medical examination and drug screening.
• Willingness and ability to work various shifts, overtime, holiday duty, and days-off as assigned.

Nice To Haves

• Preference relating to transit-type operations.
• Transit servicing experience.
• Background in gasoline- and/or diesel-operated vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Safely cleaning and servicing company vehicles.
• Performing second-level maintenance on all company vehicles, revenue as well as non-revenue.
