About The Position

The Service Associate (Teller) provides customer service by handling banking transactions, responding to inquiries and problems with solutions that meet customers’ needs, and building customer loyalty. The role contributes to banking center operations by balancing cash, daily transactions, the vault, and ATM; following applicable regulations, reporting requirements, information security policies, and verification procedures; and assisting with opening and/or closing the banking center. The position also supports a high-performing sales environment by selling bank products, making referrals, learning about all bank products, and participating in meetings and coaching sessions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of sales, cash handling, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for banking transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve problems with solutions that meet current customer needs.
• Build customer loyalty and customer advocates.
• Balance cash, daily transactions, the vault, and ATM.
• Understand and ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
• Follow information security policies and verification procedures to protect customer privacy.
• Assist with opening and/or closing the banking center.
• Sell bank products, make customer referrals, and perform other activities that support sales goals.
• Know about all bank products.
• Participate in daily or weekly meetings and coaching sessions.
