About The Position

The Service Assistant works with other members of the service team to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. The role requires handling a rapidly changing workload and prioritizing tasks accordingly. It offers an opportunity to gain experience, learn, and develop a career in the automotive industry.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have basic automotive knowledge.
• Be willing to obtain forklift certification after hire.
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be willing to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
• Have a valid driver's license with no suspensions within the past year.
• Drivers under 21 must have held a driver's license for at least three years and successfully complete Lucid training upon hire.
• Work full-time, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide a world-class customer experience to internal and external Lucid clients.
• Drive vehicles to drop off or pick up customer vehicles and loaners, visit body shops, test charging at Electrify America stations, and perform other vehicle-related runs.
• Arrange Lyft rides for internal vehicle moves upon request.
• Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspection carrier preparation and vehicle handover.
• Help with the check-in process when needed.
• Assist technicians with basic repairs in the shop.
• Move and stage vehicles, deliver parts, wash vehicles, and assist the service department as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
