About The Position

The Service Assistant removes used dishes and tableware and prepares tables professionally for new guests. The role helps expedite the restaurant floor and seat guests in a timely manner. The assistant also performs assigned cleaning and paperwork, supports waiters and kitchen staff, and completes other assigned work-related duties.

Requirements

• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items such as dishes and tubs.
• High energy and stamina.
• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Excellent customer service and ability to treat patrons like family.
• Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents.

• Previous restaurant experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove dishes and other items from tables after meals.
• Clean and prepare tables for new guests according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Perform assigned cleaning side work.
• Complete required service paperwork.
• Support waiters and kitchen staff with other duties as required.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
