About The Position

The role involves performing assemblies for hydraulic and pneumatic units, assembling hydraulic and pneumatic panels, and performing in-house and external repairs. It also includes providing emergency services, on-site troubleshooting, and diagnosing problems related to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, control, and electrical systems. The technician will also perform inspection services, preventive maintenance, and install and commission hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. Fabrication and installation of factory piping and hoses are also part of the role. The technician must follow company processes and procedures for all service calls, repairs, and warranty requests, including proper documentation. Additionally, they will provide technical assistance and product advice to customers, inform them about products, and provide recommendations on system modifications. Compliance with all health and safety regulations and policies at Wainbee and customer facilities is mandatory.

Requirements

  • 2 years or more of experience in the field of industrial mechanics and/or hydraulic/pneumatic systems
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to carry, lift, push, and pull at least 50 lb on a regular basis
  • Must be able to bend, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and work in awkward positions for extended periods
  • Must be able to use hand tools and have their own tools for the workshop
  • Must be able to travel to client sites up to 100% of the time, including, if applicable, travel between provinces
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Travel to the client site.
  • Good communication skills and technical knowledge
  • Must undergo a background check and a driving record summary.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic schematics is an asset
  • Technical training and demonstrated knowledge of industrial products are an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform assemblies for hydraulic and pneumatic units.
