This role encompasses several potential functions: Packaging Operator: Operates packaging equipment to fill finished product bags, ensuring proper weighing, labeling, palletizing, and stretch wrapping for warehouse storage and customer shipment. Safety, food safety, and attention to detail are paramount. May assist Shift Supervisor or other site leadership with tasks in other areas/departments. Requires lifting up to 50lbs manually and working in inclement weather and varying temperatures. Floor Operator: Provides daily support in the production department, including receiving materials, communicating with railroad for railcar management, shipping materials using Bill of Lading, loading/unloading product from trailers, and assisting in other areas as needed. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs manually and working in inclement weather and varying temperatures. Utility Operator: Provides daily support in the utilities department, operating high-pressure steam boilers, processing and testing chemicals, monitoring secondary containment, interacting with the process distillation system, and operating the site waste treatment center. May assist the Plant Coordinator with tasks in other areas/departments. Requires lifting up to 50lbs manually and working in inclement weather and varying temperatures. Must obtain an Arkansas high-pressure boiler operator’s license within the first 6 months. Lab Operator: Ensures the plant scientific and medical laboratory is prepared for testing, maintains lab records, keeps equipment in order, and provides data to support findings. Control Room Operator: Monitors plant operations through computer monitors to identify main operating mechanics. Responsible for area-specific EHSQ procedure/policy adherence, EHSQMS element support, reporting all incidents, defects, and hazards. Involved in EHSQ specific checks and inspections for policy adherence. All employees are responsible for: Compliance with procedures that implement the requirements of the EHSQ policies and procedures. Being responsible for their own actions. Carrying out their work in a manner which does not present a risk to themselves, others, and the environment. Reporting all incidents, defects, hazards, and inadequacies of procedures so that appropriate review and corrective action can be taken. Suggesting improvements and being active in the general improvement of all systems and methods of work to ensure EHSQ supports activities and services are carried out in a safe, environmentally responsible, reliable, and cost-effective manner.
