About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite role for a Production Welder 1 on the 1st shift (M-F, 5:00am - 1:30pm). The Production Welder 1 will perform routine welding and fitting tasks to keep production moving and support product and process improvement initiatives. This role impacts safety, quality, and throughput, and involves working closely with the production team and quality/stakeholder partners.

Requirements

• Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma
• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in welding/fitting
• 1–2 years of welding or related production experience
• Knowledge of welding techniques and weld preparation
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and weld prints
• Strong basic math skills
• Good communication and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior assembly experience on a production line

Responsibilities

• Perform routine welding and fitting tasks
• Prepare welds, perform various welding operations, and complete weld finishing tasks
• Manufacture and assemble metal fabrications and mechanical components per drawings
• Read and follow mechanical drawings and weld prints to meet quality standards
• Maintain consistent workmanship and comply with regulatory and Quality Assurance requirements
• Support product improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing efficiency and quality enhancements
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety goals
• Provide regular, consistent attendance and be available for occasional nights/weekends or additional hours as required
