Production Welder 1 - 1st shift

The ideal candidate will have solid MIG welding experience and enjoy working independently. First shift hours are Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Must have familiarity with GMAW (Mig), GTAW (Tig), and/or LBW (Laser Beam).
- Requires technical training in welding and/or less than 1 year of experience.
- The ability to perform visual inspection of welds and surface condition to ensure quality standards.
Nice To Haves
- Technical Diploma or Certificate in Welding preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Fit, align and weld or tack weld metal parts together following work instructions and established procedures.
- Use jigs and holding fixtures where available to location and position pieces and materials.
- Efficiently produce quality welds.
- Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection and repair.
- Other duties as assigned.
