About The Position

Bradley Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service team in Lake Havasu City. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven dealership Service Advisor who knows how to build customer relationships, write repair orders, communicate effectively with technicians, recommend necessary services, and drive service department revenue. We are looking for someone who understands the fast-paced dealership environment and can confidently manage customers from check-in through vehicle delivery while providing an exceptional ownership experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer
  • Proven success in a franchised automotive dealership environment
  • Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong sales, follow-up, and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience writing repair orders and estimates
  • Ability to explain automotive repairs and recommendations to customers
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience working with dealership DMS/CRM systems
  • Ability to work effectively with technicians, parts, management, and customers
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • A motivated, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced service department
  • Previous Automotive Dealership Service Advisor experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • GM/Chevrolet dealership experience is a plus, but experienced dealership Service Advisors from other brands are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers professionally and accurately identify their vehicle concerns
  • Conduct thorough vehicle walkarounds and document customer concerns
  • Write detailed repair orders and estimates using dealership systems
  • Communicate recommended repairs and maintenance clearly to customers
  • Explain technical issues and repair recommendations in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Obtain customer authorization for repairs and additional work
  • Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs
  • Coordinate with technicians and the service department to ensure timely repairs
  • Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in the CRM/DMS
  • Follow up with customers regarding declined services and future maintenance needs
  • Handle service appointments, customer concerns, and delivery of completed vehicles
  • Review completed repairs and invoices with customers
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism
  • Meet or exceed individual and department performance goals
  • Build customer trust and long-term relationships
  • Write and manage accurate repair orders
  • Identify maintenance and repair opportunities
  • Recommend additional services when appropriate
  • Maintain strong customer-pay and overall service production
  • Follow up consistently with customers
  • Deliver an exceptional service experience
