Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers upon arrival in the maintenance area.
  • Listen attentively to customer vehicle concerns and conduct thorough inspections.
  • Proactively check for recalls and retrieve crucial vehicle information.
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and providing daily updates.
  • Perform administrative duties, including submitting documentation for warranty repair orders and handling customer relations on a per-need basis.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
  • Prepare detailed repair orders, describing symptoms, problems, causes, and required repairs/services.
  • Obtain necessary approval signatures.
  • Enter repair orders into the service database system and send to Estimator and Dispatcher.
  • Monitor repair work to ensure timely completion.
  • Review completed jobs, collect payments, and efficiently close out service orders.
  • Call customers when the job is complete and the truck is ready for pickup.
  • Establish good customer relations by providing estimates and timelines.
  • Issue sublet purchase order numbers.
  • Print warranty and repair orders.
