Responsibilities

Greeting customers upon their arrival in the maintenance area.
Listening attentively to their vehicle concerns and conducting thorough inspections.
Proactively checking for recalls.
Retrieving crucial vehicle information, including mileage and VIN numbers.
Maintaining customer rapport by explaining estimates and providing daily updates.
Submitting documentation for warranty repair orders.
Handling customer relations on a per-need basis.
Verifying warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers.
Explaining provisions and exclusions of warranties and service contracts.
Preparing detailed repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, causes, and required repairs/services.
Obtaining necessary approval signatures.
Entering repair orders into the service database system and sending them to the Estimator and Dispatcher.
Monitoring repair work to ensure timely completion.
Reviewing completed jobs.
Collecting payments.
Efficiently closing out service orders.
