About The Position

As a Service Advisor at Lexus of Palm Beach, you’ll be part of AutoNation’s nationwide team servicing 20,000 cars a day and building customer loyalty. You’ll work in a service department as the go-between for Service Technicians and customers, taking an active role in the service lane. Using communication skills, automotive knowledge, and technology, you’ll explain technicians’ recommendations in easy-to-understand language and suggest opportunities that help keep customers’ vehicles safe.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments to support a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and the targeted customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and vehicle walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
• Use a consultative selling process to help customers plan ongoing required vehicle maintenance.
• Prepare customer repair orders, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency.
• Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to help ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers about vehicle status according to their communication preferences.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build superior product knowledge to effectively help customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
