About The Position

The Service Advisor at Jaguar Land Rover West Houston serves as the go-between for service technicians and customers in AutoNation’s service department. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index goals.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs using customer information, vehicle walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
• Use a consultative selling process to help customers plan ongoing required vehicle maintenance.
• Prepare repair orders, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency.
• Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to support timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers about vehicle status according to their preferred communication method.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build product knowledge to help customers effectively.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
