About The Position

Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization. Leith Ford has an outstanding opportunity for a Service Advisor to join their team! The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States. The Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaison between the Service Department technicians and the parts department by maintaining customer satisfaction. They will determine the course of action, obtain customer authorization, write up service needs, and provide accurate estimates for costs and completion times. The role requires effective communication with customers regarding repairs and maintenance, knowledge of warranty and service/insurance policies, and keeping customers informed of their vehicle's prognosis. Additionally, the Service Advisor will call customers to set appointments and answer telephones in a timely manner, and attend required training and department meetings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and one year of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current valid driver’s license.
  • Good reading, writing and math skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work retail hours.
  • Computer proficient.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the Service Department technicians and the parts department.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Meet & greet customers with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Provide an outstanding guest experience.
  • Determine the course of action to take and obtain customer authorization.
  • Write up service needs and give customers accurate estimates for dollar amount and completion time of work.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to achieve satisfactory repairs and the sale of necessary repair or maintenance.
  • Utilize knowledge of warranty and service/insurance policies.
  • Keep customers informed and advise them of the prognosis of their vehicle.
  • Call customers to set appointments.
  • Answer telephones in a timely manner.
  • Attend and complete required training and department meetings.
