About The Position
Fowler Kia of Longmont is seeking a compassionate Automotive Service Advisor to help guests navigate vehicle repairs and maintenance. The role focuses on understanding customers’ circumstances, communicating clearly and empathetically, and coordinating service so transportation can be restored as quickly and smoothly as possible. The Service Advisor works with guests, technicians, and management throughout the repair process, explains services and costs, and ensures completed work meets quality and customer-satisfaction standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Motor vehicle record acceptable to the company’s insurance carrier.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and present information in one-on-one and small-group situations.
Responsibilities
- Keep guests’ needs central to the business and its success.
- Listen to guests and clearly communicate repair needs to technicians.
- Recommend additional services based on each guest’s individual needs.
- Provide accurate repair and maintenance estimates and timelines.
- Maintain ongoing communication with each guest throughout the repair process.
- Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is completed.
- Notify guests when their vehicles are ready for pickup.
- Review and explain completed repairs and associated costs to each guest.
- Present the serviced vehicle to the guest and stand by the work performed.
- Show empathy for the inconvenience and emotions associated with vehicle problems.
- Communicate needs and obstacles to management.
- Exceed Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with manufacturer standards.
