About The Position

University Kia is seeking an experienced, motivated Automotive Service Advisor to join its team in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves identifying vehicle problems, gathering warranty and service-coverage information, and preparing repair orders. Service Advisors schedule customer appointments and alternative transportation, assess service needs, initiate repairs, and maintain strong customer satisfaction. Requirements

One year of dealership Service Advisor experience is preferred.
Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
Valid driver's license and good standing.

Responsibilities

Greet and consult with customers to understand their needs and arrange appropriate service.
Serve as the primary point of contact for automotive service and repair matters.
Consult with mechanics about necessary repairs and alternatives to costly work.
Sell additional services when needed.
Set and manage customer and mechanic expectations for service delivery.
Keep customers updated on repair needs and completion times.
Verify that the final invoice matches the work performed on the repair order.
Schedule customer appointments and alternative transportation, such as loan vehicles or shuttle rides.
Assess customer needs and write repair orders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
