About The Position

Stanley Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Gilmer, Texas, is seeking an experienced, self-starting Service Advisor to serve as the link between customers and technicians and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Requirements

Experience as a Service Advisor; prior dealership experience is a plus.
Self-starter with excellent computer proficiency.
Sales and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a professional appearance.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record test, background check, and drug screen.
Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with social media.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills; not required, but a significant advantage.
Prior dealership experience.

Responsibilities

Sell and schedule needed service work.
Greet customers promptly and warmly and gather essential vehicle information.
Document vehicle problems accurately on repair orders and test-drive vehicles as needed.
Advise customers on maintenance, provide accurate cost estimates, and obtain authorization.
Manage repairs from start to finish, including dispatch, progress checks, and follow-up.
Explain completed work and charges clearly to customers.
Maintain customer satisfaction standards and address customer inquiries.
Oversee vehicle quality control, prepare vehicles for delivery, and inspect for body work.
Maintain required manufacturer training and certifications.
