About The Position

Campers Inn RV is seeking a Service Advisor-Writer (Airstream Specialist) to join their team. This role is for a customer-focused professional passionate about delivering an exceptional ownership experience to RV enthusiasts, with a special focus on Airstream customers. Airstream owners are a unique customer base who are passionate about their brand and expect a high level of communication, product knowledge, and service. The Service Advisor-Writer (Airstream Specialist) will be the primary point of contact for all Airstream service customers and will also assist traditional RV customers as needed. This position requires someone who can build relationships, communicate proactively, and deliver a premium customer experience that reflects the reputation and expectations of the Airstream brand. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • A minimum of one year’s RV service experience preferred
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as required is essential. Hours may include, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and strong work ethic
  • Commitment to superior customer service
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Knowledge or ability to learn company computer systems applications, including Motility Systems2K, and other software applicable
  • Ability to safely handle solvents and chemicals
  • Ability to move RVs of various sizes
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms
  • Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
  • Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
  • Prepares repair orders (RO)
  • Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards
  • Periodically checks on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacts the customer as needed to keep them up to date with their RV’s status
