About The Position

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Roofing Service Account Manager to join our Ottawa branch. This is a relationship-driven, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in sales, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and wants to grow their career in a dynamic construction and service environment. This position is Monday-Friday (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM), with flexibility required to support client needs. Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals. Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Sales mindset with the drive to grow business and meet targets
  • Ability to understand construction drawings/specifications
  • Customer-focused with a high level of responsiveness
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Actively generate new business
  • Conduct frequent client meetings, site visits, and presentations
  • Attend local networking and industry events
  • Identify client needs and recommend roofing service solutions
  • Prepare and present estimates, proposals, and service solutions
  • Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Follow up on quotes, tenders, and opportunities to close business
  • Collaborate with local and national teams to support key accounts
  • Support light project management and coordination of service work
  • Manage a flexible schedule that supports ongoing relationship-building and business development
