About The Position
Come join our team at Vitalia Solon located at 6050 Kruse Dr, Solon, OH 44139! We are looking for someone (like you) to be a Host with the Most, a Peppy Prepper, a Titan of Tidiness, and an “Appetite Anthropologist.” Being a great host means greeting residents and making them feel welcome, being present in the dining room, mingling, entertaining, and fostering an environment where residents can connect. As a Peppy Prepper, whether prepping a table for service, salads for the next meal, or rolling silverware, you understand a successful meal service can only happen if you’re prepared. As a Titan of Tidiness, bussing tables and sweeping floors plays a crucial part in making the community something we can be proud of. Being an “Appetite Anthropologist” involves communicating with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminally cleared
Responsibilities
