About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Vitalia Rockside in Seven Hills, OH. This part-time position involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing the dining area for service, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate effectively in English, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and ensure their safety.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Assist persons after a fall.
